Saxon refoam and recover all kinds of
motorcycle seat.
We will discuss your ideas with you, help you to
decide on the most suitable materials, and offer a
complete design service to ensure that you get what
you want. Pictures of proposed designs can be
emailed to you before any work is started, to make
sure that the seat will suit your bike.
Saxon make to order:
Seat foams, covers, handlebar grips, tank panels,
backrest pads and custom fiberglass seat bases.
Saxon can modify seats in the following
ways:
Foam modifications for comfort or design, material
changes, deep luxury buttoning, stitched patterns,
lettering and pictures, inlaid/embossed lettering,
hand carving of veg-tanned hide, exotic leathers,
studding, concho detailing and tassling.
Saxon Stock:
Finest quality cow hide, hair-on cow hide,
veg-tanned hide, stingray skin, eagleray skin,
shark skin, crocodile skin and vinyls.

All imported exotic skins are purchased from
suppliers that can guarantee their compliance with
CITES (Convention on International Trade
in Endangered Species). Importation permits
are mandatory for CITES-listed species.
Saxon are specialists in making one of a
kind, custom seats.
This means that we can deal with many projects
ranging from recovers of classic bike seats, where
original and after-market products are no longer
available, through to hand tailored seats for
bespoke custom cycles.
We will manufacture individual fiberglass bases for
custom cycles, where the bike is one of a kind and
there is no original to copy, and we will see this
through to the finish that is required using hand
shaped foam and the covering of your choice. The
covering can be made from many materials, ranging
from special-effect vinyls to exotic skins.
Classic bikes often require extensive renovation,
and we will take this on from the foam upwards. We
take care to match the original shapes and cover
colours/textures in order to complete your
restoration projects.
The way that we approach seat manufacture, means
that we can offer to recover seats for all kinds of
motorcycle, from Japanese brands such as Honda,
Suzuki and Yamaha, American brands such as Victory,
Harley-Davidson and Buell, to British made bikes
such as Norton, Triumph and Velocette.
Saxon is a family company, run by Alan, Daniel and
Adam Smith, we work together daily and discuss all
projects making sure that the best route is taken.

We make sure that all skins that we receive are
tagged if necessary, in accordance with the
importation permit, and research species thoroughly
before purchasing.
