Are the covers made from high quality materials?
Yes, all Saxon upgrade seat covers are made with the highest quality materials. They are all UV stable, waterproof quick-dry vinyl which will last for years.

Do I need to remove the original cover?
No, the upgrade cover fits over the original.

How do I fit the seat cover?
The seat cover is fitted with staples. Instructions for fitting are supplied with the cover.

Is it difficult to fit the cover?
No, the covers have been made with elastic and extra panels so that they fit easily. They are shaped to the contours of the seat. No cutting or pleating is required.

What staples should I use?
Stainless steel is best as the seat may be exposed to the elements, but steel staples can be used.

What length should the staples be?
Approximately 6 mm.

What type of staple gun do I need?
An electric staple gun will make the job easier, but a hand operated stapler will work. Because the covers are so well fitted it won't be too difficult to use a hand operated version.

Where can I buy a staple gun?
Electric and hand operated staple guns are fairly easy to find in hardware and tool shops. 

I really don't want to fit it myself, can you help?
We would suggest finding an upholsterer close to your home, as this gets over the issue of having to post your seat.

Are the covers waterproof? 
The materials are waterproof but the stitching leaves holes in the cover. Fitting the upgrade cover over your original cover will keep the seat foam dry. The original cover will act as a waterproof membrane.

What if my original cover is damaged/split?
It would be best to remove the original cover and place a plastic membrane over the seat foam before fitting the upgrade cover.
