This seat is an original Harley-Davidson base and foam, that has been recovered by Saxon. Each seat part has been upholstered with a single-crown stingray hide, and black leather.
The stingray skin is tough and durable, with an intriguing texture and a brilliant high gloss black finish. The seat cover is constructed according to the original vRod seat cover pattern, ensuring a good fit, and the correct aesthetics to suit the bike.
The leather can be treated with our Nikwax leather cleaning and waterproofing kit, and the stingray skin can be washed with a damp cloth. The stingray skin is not waterproof, but the seat will not hold water, as there is an original plastic layer on top of the seat foam.
The seat has been inspected at every stage in it's production to assure quality, however, it does come with a one year warranty, that covers you against manufacture and material faults.
